Step-by-step

  1. 1Type the @ symbol followed by the first few letters of a user's or institution's name.
  2. 2An autocomplete dropdown appears with matching results, showing both users and institutions.
  3. 3Results are prioritised: your circle members appear first (marked with a purple ● badge), followed by people you follow (blue ◆ badge), then other users.
  4. 4Click on the person or institution you want to mention to insert them into your post.
  5. 5The mentioned entity will receive a notification when the post is published.
  6. 6Mentions appear as highlighted, clickable names in the published post.
  7. 7When no text is typed after @, you will see suggestions from your circle (up to 5), following (up to 5), and others (up to 5).
