Getting Started

What is Brigaly?

Brigaly is an educational platform that connects students with institutions, allowing them to discover courses, send enquiries, and stay updated with the latest information from educational providers.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner. You can register using your email address or social media accounts. Complete the onboarding process to personalize your experience.

Is Brigaly free to use?

Yes, Brigaly is free for students. Educational institutions may have different pricing plans based on their requirements.

For Students

How do I search for institutions?

Use the Explore page to search for institutions by name, location, category, or courses. You can filter results based on your preferences and follow institutions that interest you.

How do I send an enquiry to an institution?

Visit the institution profile page and click the "Enquire" button. Fill in your details and question, and the institution will receive your enquiry directly.

Can I follow institutions?

Yes! Click the "Follow" button on any institution profile to receive updates, announcements, and course information in your feed.

How do I manage notifications?

Go to Settings > Notifications to customize which updates you want to receive via email, push notifications, or in-app alerts.

For Institutions

How do I create an institution profile?

Navigate to the Institutions dashboard and click "Create New Institution". Provide your institution details, verify your information, and publish your profile.

How do I add courses?

From your institution dashboard, go to the Courses section and click "Add New Course". Enter course details including name, duration, fees, and eligibility criteria.

Can I manage multiple institutions?

Yes, you can create and manage multiple institution profiles from a single account. Switch between them using the institution selector in your dashboard.

How do I respond to student enquiries?

Check your Institution Admin panel for incoming enquiries. Click on any enquiry to view details and respond directly through the platform.

How do I add images to my gallery?

In the Advanced Institution Editor, go to the Gallery tab. Upload images of your campus, facilities, events, and activities to showcase your institution.

Privacy & Security

Is my personal information secure?

Yes, we use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Read our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

Who can see my profile information?

You can control your privacy settings. By default, your basic profile is visible to other users, but you can adjust what information is public or private.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account and click "Delete Account". Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data & Privacy Rights

What is the legal basis for processing my personal data?

We process your data under several legal bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the platform), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent (for analytics cookies and marketing where applicable). How do I access, correct, or delete my personal data?

You can update your profile information at any time from Settings > Profile. To request a full copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or delete your account entirely, contact privacy@brigaly.com. We will respond within one month as required by GDPR.

How do I withdraw cookie consent or manage my cookie preferences?

If you have not yet made a choice, a cookie consent banner will appear at the bottom of the page. If you have already accepted and wish to change your preferences, you can clear your browser's local storage (the key is "brigaly-cookie-consent") or contact support and we will reset your preferences. You can also manage cookies directly in your browser settings.

Can I opt out of analytics tracking?

Yes. Click "Reject Non-Essential" on the cookie consent banner, or use "Manage Preferences" to turn off Analytics cookies specifically. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your browsing on Brigaly. Essential cookies required for the platform to function cannot be disabled.

Do you sell my personal data?

No. Brigaly does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. When you send an enquiry to an institution, that institution receives your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry.

How do I lodge a complaint about how my data is handled?

If you have concerns about how we process your personal data, please contact us first at privacy@brigaly.com. If you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Technical Support

The platform is not loading properly. What should I do?

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Ensure you are using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). If the issue persists, contact our support team.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email address, and we will send you instructions to reset your password.

Can I access Brigaly on mobile?

Yes, Brigaly is fully responsive and works on mobile devices through your web browser. We are also developing native mobile apps.
