1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Brigaly. By accessing or using Brigaly's platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Brigaly. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Brigaly is an educational networking platform that connects students, educators, and educational institutions. The Service enables users to:

• Discover and follow educational institutions and their programmes
• Submit enquiries to institutions and receive information about courses
• Create and share educational content, posts, and articles
• Build a professional educational profile
• Receive updates, announcements, and notifications from institutions
• Connect with other students and educational professionals

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users aged 13–17 must have parental or guardian consent.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Not share your login credentials with any other person
• Notify us immediately at support@brigaly.com if you suspect unauthorised access

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Brigaly reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at its discretion.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and post on Brigaly (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Brigaly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that your User Content:

• Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Is not false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Does not contain harmful, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit material
• Complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• Does not contain unsolicited advertising, spam, or malicious code

Brigaly reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without notice.

5. Institute Profiles

Educational institutions creating profiles on Brigaly (“Institute Accounts”) additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about their institution, facilities, and programmes
• Ensure all advertised courses, fees, and admission criteria are current and accurate
• Respond to student enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Comply with all applicable education regulations and accreditation requirements
• Not use the platform to engage in deceptive recruitment practices
• Promptly notify Brigaly of any material changes to their institution's status

Brigaly does not endorse or verify the accuracy of institute-provided information and is not responsible for the quality of educational services offered by institutions listed on the platform.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Impersonate any person, institution, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any of them
• Collect, harvest, or store personal data of other users without their consent
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers without prior written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Post spam, chain messages, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious software
• Engage in any conduct that harasses, bullies, or threatens other users

7. Intellectual Property

The Brigaly Service, including its name, logo, design, software, features, and functionality, is owned by Brigaly and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable.
