Acceptable use
Last updated 15 October 2026.
Brigaly is used by schools, colleges, families and children. These rules keep it safe and useful. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. For everyone
Do not use Brigaly to post, send or share anything that:
- is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share;
- harasses, bullies, threatens or discriminates against anyone;
- is obscene, sexually explicit, or violent;
- is false or misleading in a way that could cause harm, including fake results, notices or fee demands;
- impersonates a person or an institute, or misrepresents your role;
- shares someone else's personal information without their consent;
- is spam, a scam, or advertising unrelated to education;
- contains malware, or tries to break into accounts, scrape data or disrupt the service.
2. Keeping children safe
- Never post content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child. We report such content to the authorities.
- Share photos of students only for the institute's legitimate purposes, and only with the consent the law and the institute's policy require.
- Do not try to contact a child outside the channels the institute provides.
3. For institutes
- Represent your institute accurately: its name, affiliations, results and fees.
- Add people to your roster only with the right to do so, and keep their records accurate.
- Use members' contact details only to run the institute, not for unrelated marketing.
- Post opportunities that are genuine, and say clearly if one is paid, unpaid or charges a fee.
- Give admin access only to people who should have it, and remove it when they leave.
4. Reporting
Tell your institute's office, or write to help@brigaly.com with a link to what concerns you. For serious concerns, contact our Grievance Officer.
5. What we do
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account or hub, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where we can, we tell the person affected and explain why. You can appeal through the grievance process.
