Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owners.

Brigaly uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to operate the platform, improve your experience, and — where you have consented — to analyse usage. This policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

2. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems. Without them, you would not be able to log in, navigate securely, or use core features of Brigaly.

3. Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with Brigaly, which pages are most visited, and where users encounter errors. This information helps us improve the platform. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for this purpose. These cookies are only set after you consent.

4. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies enable enhanced features and personalisation, such as remembering your language or region preferences. They are set only with your consent.

Storage KeyPurposeDuration
brigaly-cookie-consentStores your cookie preferences (analytics on/off, functional on/off) so the consent banner is not shown on every visitPersistent (localStorage)

Note: brigaly-cookie-consent is stored in localStorage, not as a browser cookie, so it is not transmitted to our servers.

5. How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using core features of Brigaly.

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

For more information about managing cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.

6. Updating Your Preferences on Brigaly

If you have already made a cookie choice and want to change it, you can clear the brigaly-cookie-consent key from your browser's local storage and reload the page — the consent banner will reappear. Alternatively, contact support@brigaly.com and we will reset your preferences.

7. Third-Party Services

Some third-party services embedded in or linked from Brigaly may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the privacy policies of those services directly:
