Create an academic year
Academic Years & TermsConfigure academic years and terms for your institution. Academic years organise students into yearly cohorts, while terms (semesters, trimesters, quarters) structure the academic calendar within each year.
Step-by-step
- 1Open Admin Dashboard and click "Academic Years" in the sidebar.
- 2Click "Add Academic Year" or "Create".
- 3Enter the year label (e.g., "2024-2025", "AY 2025").
- 4Set the start date and end date for the academic year.
- 5Mark it as the "Current" year if it is the active academic year.
- 6Click "Save" to create the academic year.
